World's largest manufacturer approves reflok fittings.

Daikin AC (Americas) Inc, the US arm of the world's largest manufacturer of VRV equipment, has given official approval for reflok compression fittings to be used on its VRV systems.

The approval at the moment is for reflok connectors and reducers when used with copper tubing, but approval for the Aluminium tube which maximises the advantage of the reflok system is expected soon. The reflok connector is already universal and has been extensively tested with both metals with entirely positive results.

Daikin's official release states "As a result of the testing and meetings (with reflok engineers and staff) Daikin AC now endorses the use of reflok compression fittings, provided they are installed by a trained individual per reflok's recommended instructions."

The approval only applies to reflok fittings and connectors and not those from other manufacturers. It follows independent research and testing by Daikin NA and scrutiny of both reflok's design criteria and training methods.

"Daikin is the biggest manufacturer in the industry, so if they are finally happy to endorse reflok, we know we have a winning product."
