The Reflok component toolbox kit is supplied with eight popular joint sizes: 6mm/1/4", 8mm/5/16", 10mm/3/8", 12mm/1/2", 16mm/5/8", 19mm/3/4", 22mm/7/8", 28mm/11/8", 35mm/1 3/8", ratcheting crimping pliers, required jaw sets, joint preparation fluid and a tough carrying case.

Making a Reflok joint is a simple process starting with the selection of the appropriate jaw size for the Reflok connector and pipes to be joined. These simply slot into the pliers and are held securely in place with locking pins.

Select the Reflok connector to match your pipe size. Shown here in its uncompressed state a Reflok connector creates a perfect joint as it is compressed using the pliers.

The Reflok connector locates in the pliers as shown, one of the jaws will apply pressure to the outside of the joint the other applying pressure to the centre shoulder.

Joint preparation fluid is then applied to the pipe to be joined. The anaerobic fluid acts as an additional seal compensating for any slight imperfections in the tube ensuring a perfect gas tight joint.

The tube is then inserted into the Reflok connector in preparation for the crimping process.

The pliers are then operated to compress the Reflok connector and make the joint. Because of their ratcheting action Reflok pliers can be used in difficult to access and confined spaces.

The crimping pliers incorporate articulating arms to provide access to confined spaces and allow overhead joint making.

As the pliers are worked the Reflok connector compresses to create the perfect joint.

The process is then repeated for the other side to complete the joint. The whole process takes just a few minutes, is clean, gas tight in excess of 42 bar and most importantly requires no heat.

The process used can be repeated throughout the range to create joints from 6mm/1/4" to 35mm/1 3/8".
